The end of summer is drawing near, which means the Toronto Flower Market is making its final rounds of the year! Yes, I rhyme from time to time. Fear not, there’s still a chance for you to bask in the sun and enjoy the most beautiful selections from all the talented vendors! The market is making one last appearance on October 8th until it returns in the new year.
In July, I paid a visit to the Toronto Flower Market thanks to my dear friend Shelby, who suggested we go. It was my first time and I was not let down! Joined by my sis Basmah, we roamed the market and were stunned by all the unique flower arrangements and handcrafted goodies. If you or someone you know loves flowers and custom goods, or you’re looking for a sweet activity to kick off autumn, continue reading! I’ll be sharing some of the photos we took at the summer market below.
Enjoy!

We loved walking around and seeing what people at the market were picking out! The flowers truly elevated everyone’s outfits and energy somehow!

My peonies and I having a moment.

Some of the vendors allowed us to mix and match their flowers with others’ into a single bouquet, which made us so happy! Special thanks to Dereves Floral for wrapping our flowers so beautifully!

Beauties โฅ

Refueling at Mofer Coffee

There’s truly nothing like finding an air-conditioned cafรฉ on a scorching hot summer day to grab a drink, relax, and catch up with good company. The one we went to is called Mofer! Did I mention Mofer is Ethiopian and Black-owned? We love to see it! If you’re ever in the area, go check it out. You’ll be happy you did.

One thing about Toronto is it is filled with many hidden gems that you only uncover by exploring. So exploring is what we did!
Surprise delivery from Dereves Floral โฅ

At the market, we fell in love with Dereves Floral, one of the many amazing vendors! A few days later, I was excited to hear I won their giveaway and received a beautiful bouquet from Maria, Dereves Floral’s founder! It was such a sweet surprise and the flowers lasted so long. Make sure to check out @derevesfloral‘s stunning work on Instagram!
The next market
If you missed the market this summer, it will be returning for the final time this year on October 8th! Let me know in the comments if you attended the same market I did or plan on going in the future! I’d love to hear which flowers you picked up and what your experience was like.
As always, thank you for reading and see you in my next post!
Lots of love,
Kundi
